Pink amethyst & flower agate heart, Madagascar 95 g

Description

This polished heart-shaped piece pairs pink amethyst with flower agate and features a central vug lined with sparkling drusy crystals. Cream, beige, grey and soft pink tones surround the cavity, and one side shows a rougher textured area that contrasts with the polished surfaces. The specimen measures 5 × 7 × 1.3 cm and weighs 95 g. Pale, layered banding is visible around the central cavity and the drusy interior provides a fine, glittering texture within the vug. Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz; in Madagascar, amethyst and agate varieties are commonly found together as banded, cavity-filled material. This piece combines polished stone with an exposed drusy pocket to show both cut surface and internal crystal texture.
