Description
This is a polished oval cabochon of pink amethyst and flower agate from Madagascar, presented with a smooth surface and a pale milky‑white to faint beige body. Soft, patchy cream‑to‑beige patterning crosses the stone without sharp banding, and the thin edges display slight translucency. The cabochon measures 4.8 × 2.8 × 0.7 cm and weighs 29 g. The finish is uniformly polished with no additional features asserted; colour is generally pale and evenly distributed across the oval form. Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz (SiO2); flower agate is a descriptive trade name for agate with nodular or botryoidal patterning. Madagascar is a common origin for a range of quartz varieties and agates, and specimens from the island often show soft, banded or floral-like patterns in polished material.
