Description
This specimen features golden‑yellow translucent calcite crystals arranged on a dark grey to smoky translucent fluorite crystal mass. The colour contrast between the warm calcite and the smoky fluorite host gives the piece clear visual separation while preserving the natural, angular crystal textures. Compact at 8×8×5 cm and weighing 245 g, the specimen shows mixed angular crystal textures across both the fluorite and the calcite. Fluorite is calcium fluoride (CaF2) and commonly forms cubic crystals; calcite is calcium carbonate (CaCO3) and often appears with a variety of habits. The locality is Mekhtar, Loralai District, Balochistan, Pakistan.
