Description
This specimen is a blocky smoky-brown fluorite with pale calcite. The fluorite shows compact, block-like habit alongside lighter, chalky calcite, and the piece is supplied mounted on a clear display stand. Measuring H 4.5 × W 3.5 × D 2 cm and weighing 75 g, the specimen is a small, solid example that presents both the darker fluorite material and the contrasting pale calcite clearly. The matrix colour and the paired minerals are visible without magnification. Fluorite is calcium fluoride (CaF2) and commonly forms cubic or blocky crystals; calcite is calcium carbonate (CaCO3) and frequently occurs alongside other carbonate and hydrothermal minerals. This piece comes from Mekhtar, Loralai District, Balochistan, Pakistan.
