Description
This specimen is a compact calcite and fluorite cluster showing pale honey‑yellow through colourless tones with translucent, light-catching crystal faces. The crystals present blocky-to-bladed habits across an irregular cluster without a dominant termination; some minor broken surfaces and irregular edges are present. Measuring 6 × 4 × 2 cm and weighing 58 g, the piece is hand‑sized and has a mix of translucent areas and more sparkly crystal faces that catch the light. The overall form is a small, clustered assembly rather than a single, dominant crystal, and surfaces show irregularity consistent with modest handling or breakage. Fluorite is calcium fluoride (CaF2) and calcite is calcium carbonate (CaCO3); both commonly occur together in hydrothermal and vein environments, and specimens from Balochistan frequently show pale to strong colour zoning or mixed crystal habits.
