Description
A cluster of blueberry-like fluorite crystals mixed with green cubic fluorite on a partial host. The grouping includes both small and larger rounded blueberry-style crystals alongside discrete green fluorite cubes, weighing 287 g and measuring H 11 × W 7 × D 3 cm. The specimen presents contrasting blue and green fluorite forms that are visually distinct from one another, arranged across the piece rather than as a single uniform habit.
Mineral context
Fluorite is calcium fluoride (CaF2) and commonly forms cubic crystals. Many fluorite specimens fluoresce under ultraviolet light, although UV behaviour varies between specimens.
