Description
This is a polished freeform Black Moss Agate cabochon with a dark body and striking concentric banding across the face. Several eye‑like circular patterns in cream, grey and brown tones sit against the high‑contrast background, visible across the glossy surface. The piece is thin and lightweight, measuring 3.7 × 3.8 × 0.4 cm and weighing 13 g, with a well‑polished finish that emphasises the banding and internal patterning. Origin is Indonesia. Agate is a banded form of chalcedony, a microcrystalline variety of quartz (SiO2); banding and eye‑like patterns are typical visual features found in agates and are useful for ornamental and lapidary use.
