The crystals are translucent with flat, reflective faces and show cream and rusty surface patches. There is minor edge wear and a few small chips visible. The piece measures 10 × 6.5 × 3 cm and weighs 243 g. The tabular habit and flat faces are the dominant visual features on this compact cluster; overall surface texture ranges from smooth on the crystal faces to slightly worn at the edges. Fluorite is calcium fluoride (CaF2) and commonly forms cubic or tabular crystals; many specimens from this region are noted for pale green to colourless tones and translucency.
