Description

This hand-sized Amethyst presents a triangular drusy surface of dense dark‑purple to lavender crystals, finishing with a pale lavender rim. The crystals produce a high natural sparkle with many reflective points across the druse, and the specimen sits on a flat grey‑green base. Measuring 5.5 × 4.5 × 3.5 cm and weighing 98 g, the cluster is compact and in good overall condition with deep colour concentrated across the drusy surface. The flat base gives a stable resting face and the piece displays a mix of finer crystal points across the triangular outline. Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz (SiO2) and commonly forms crystal-lined cavities and clusters; this specimen is a straightforward example of that habit from Brazil.
