Description
This small Amethyst shows a deep central cavity lined with purple crystal points and an inner drusy surface that catches the light. The crystals are translucent to semi‑translucent, and a light yellowish translucent patch is visible on the left side of the cavity. The specimen sits within a pale grey‑green outer shell and weighs 135 g, with overall dimensions of 6 × 3.5 × 4 cm. The cavity and drusy lining create a compact, textured interior contrasted against the smoother outer matrix. Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz (SiO2), and quartz commonly forms crystals and drusy linings in cavities and geodes. This piece is a concise example of that habit, with clear colour zoning and a outer shell consistent with small cavity‑hosted quartz specimens.
