Blue lace agate — cut & polished slab, Namibia, 245 g

Description

This is a cut and polished Blue lace agate slab with a flat front face and an arched side profile. The surface shows bands and zones of blue to bluish‑lavender and a fine, sparkly granular texture; a small whitish patch is visible near the lower right edge. The piece measures 9 × 6.5 × 2 cm and weighs 245 g. One side is noticeably flatter and straighter while the opposite side follows a gentle rounded arch; the front face is polished and presents the granular surface clearly. Agate is a banded form of chalcedony (microcrystalline quartz), and Blue lace varieties typically show delicate banding and soft pastel tones. This specimen’s colour range and polished face make those features easy to examine.
