This hand-sized Amethyst cut base shows a deep purple, crystal-lined interior with a dense, fine drusy surface that covers most of the face. The piece has a roughly triangular outline and a rugged natural outer edge, with the cut base allowing it to stand. Dimensions are H 6 × W 5 × D 3 cm and the specimen weighs 139 g. The interior druse is formed of many small, closely packed amethyst crystals giving a sparkling texture across the exposed face; the outer margin remains rough and natural.
